The Beautiful Chinese Garden

Last week, Luis and I visited one of the Chinese gardens in DownTown. The garden is really nice and it made by a famouse architect . The whole style is landscape garden. There are a lot of bamboos around the garden, a lucid stream , cobbled road ,and several classical ancient calligraphy exhibitions. Everything is perfect ,made me recall the time in China. I can't believe I find a chinese style garden in vancouver. (Thanks for Luis) I really like that place. When we finish visiting the garden, there also offer chinese green tea. But luis didn't like it, he told me tea is no taste. but I love chinese tea. I MISS MY COUNTRY~

The presentation with my partner

Couple weeks ago I did a presentation with my partner her name is carol. The topic is referring to conversation: how to start a conversation with a stranger, how to keep it going; and how to end it. We focused on the people whose ages are from 20 to 40. Most of them are studying and working at Douglas College. Before I start the survey I thought everything will be fine. Actually I found that Canadians are not as friendly as I thought. The result of the survey told us that most of the people have their own way to start a conversation and keep it going. However, they did not want to involve a conversation with a stranger. One question I paid much attention is about how you are going to end the conversation when you were on the phone with your friends. The answers I collected like that, almost 60% people would like to pretend they have to deal with something important to get away from the conversation, in another word; they are going to tell a lie to their friends. These answers really shock me. And also, I interviewed some the question is if someone would like to talk with you in the sky train station, or in the public place are you going to respond it or not. Half people told me they prefer to stay alone and listen to the music or just start at nowhere.
After the survey I collected all the answers and made a presentation. The result was not good as expect. But my partner and I work so hard to figure all the answers out. That was a really good memory for me. I’d like to try it again with a new topic.

Different Education

The education between Canda and China has some similarities. However, there are much more differents. Firstly,The teachers in Canada would like to cultivate the ability of creative. In the class, students always study in the team, and find out the answers by their selves. Most of the students have their own creative ideas, they follow their feelings. That's really good. Sencondly, Students in Canada have variable activities. Such as : skiing, ice hockey, dancing. They will find what kind of activity they like the most. Thirdly, teachers always give little hand-writing homework. I know a lot of chinese, they are really young, some of them just 4 or 5 years old. They came in Canada, and like the partten of education in Canada, and they told me they didn't want to go back China. These are the strongest proofs. The education in Canada attract a lot of chinese. They like to study and live in Canada.

In the contrast, the education in China seemed much cruel. Firstly, in the class, all the students should follow their teachers. It is hard to pubilish your own idea, although you think your idea is much better. Secondly, Chinese students spend their time on tests, training, and classes. They have little time on the out-school activities. Some of them may have piano or violin classes. but when they go to high-school they have to give it up. Thirdly. Chinese students have a lot of homework. When I was in high-school. I had to study untill midnight and I was so tired of studying . Because I couldn't have fun, and everyday is the same: coming to school, taking tests, doing homework and going back home. That was bored life.

All in all, I prefer the patten of education in Canada.

Louis Vuitton who is a great french designer about leather goods established his first luggage shop in 1845 named Louis Vuitton. Since that time, LV had become a real popular brand. Because of high price and fashionable product, LV is going to be a sign of people in upper society. Today, LV not only produce leather goods, they produce much more products, such as jewelry, watch and so on. LV had become to be one of the most popular brand in the world. Even through the price is expensive of LV, many people still want to buy them. LV is a crazy fad, isn't it?

How to lose your boyfriend.

Today,I don't want to talk about how to get a boyfriend, I think there is no reason for people to get together. Especially for young people, they always do something follow their feelings. However , in the contrast, how to lose your boyfrind just as easy as how to get one. There is no logic for people who are falling in love. When you lose your boyfriend just because you are busy for your study, and you do not have enough time to care about his feeling, that you make him feel alone, he is not appreciated this kind of situation he is living in. That seems ridiculious. But it happened all the time.

Now, I am able to show you how to lose your boyfriend.

1.First of all, a lot of homework involed you into a busy life. It is hard to squeeze time to share happniess and sorrow with him.

2.Secondly, make sure you have a lot of tests that high marks decide you are going to pass the course or not. So , you have to spend much attention on it, and , you can not keep life and study balance.

3. Thirdly, if you are from different countries that will be easy to break up, because of the culture shocks. You might find that you are totally different .I mean , something inside. There will be some problems when you try to figure out what does he think.

4. lastly, bad communacation will make everything goes bad . and , If English are not you two first language, you are both learning. Can you imagine?
I think these are the basic steps if you are not to mean to break up with your boyfriend. But, It works, and, the most important thing is do not be sad, silly girl, when you need a hug to cheer you up, and that guy you liked isn't available at this time.
You are becoming tough when you go through it.

The dolphin show in Stanley Park

Couple weeks a ago, my friend and I hang out to Stanley Park, that was a amazing park, I had never seen this kind of beautiful place in China . The most unforgetable experience was that we watched a Dolphin Show. My friend was really happy during the pretty show, he was laughing a lot, and told me: I love the show so much .

However, one of the movie I watched before was affecting my thoughts all the time. The movie called The Cove. The film describes that more than thouthands of dolphins per year were killed in Taiji, Japan. because of killing dolghins would bring a lot of benifits to the local goverment and fisherman.

Dolphins are really smart , one of the flipper dolphin could recoginaze herself and her pals in the TV , they have self-aware, and that totally shocked.

The dolthin show in Stanley Park was lasted 20 minutes, It ended with the cheers , screams and applauses from the audiences. They loved dolphins but they might not know what kind of slaughter the dolphin suffered from. Dolphin belong to ocean, not human being, It is our responsible to protect and respect them, not exploitation.

I took this photo.
